Permajoin is a superior all purpose adhesive. Use Permajoin as a permanent joiner for metals, wood, most plastics, glass, china, and to effect patches in concrete, mortar, ceramics, etc. Permajoin is waterproof, impervious to ordinary solvents and chemicals and is peel and crack resistant.

Permajoin is genuine epoxy glue with exceptional strength. In many instances it will actually replace conventional welds at a tremendous saving in time and money. Permajoin is so easy to use; keep it on hand for emergencies and regular maintenance needs.

Permajoin is available in the following packages:

  • bullet image Permapatch kits include glass cloth, wooden spreader, and ¼-pint each Permajoin epoxy and hardener.
  • bullet image Super Permapatch kits include glass cloth, wooden spreader, and 1 pint each Permajoin epoxy and hardener.
  • bullet image Bulk Permajoin in 1/4 –pint to 1-gallon containers.

Directions

The area to which the patch will be applied must be clean, dry and free of oil. Clean by using wire brush, solvent or emery paper. If possible the area should be sandblasted.

After thoroughly mixing the components together, apply one coat (1/16”) of Permajoin to the area. Apply glass cloth over first coat and press cloth firmly and uniformly into the epoxy.

Apply second coat of Permajoin over glass cloth and saturate cloth. Allow 4 to 6 hours curing time when the temperature is 50° F. or above. Curing time can be accelerated by applying low heat.

To use Permajoin as an adhesive or bonding agent, clean surfaces as described above and apply a light coat of Permajoin to both mating surfaces. Press the two surfaces together and clamp for 4 to 6 hours when temperature is 50° F. or above.
